Here’s What a Business Development Rep Does

A business development rep needs to be a self-starter and must be passionate about growing relationships with other businesses. Since Stanislaus Food Products provides ingredients to mom and pop restaurants, a business development representative for our company needs to have an appreciation for high quality, locally owned restaurants. That’s who you will be representing Stanislaus to on a day-to-day basis.

Admin Career Openings: Business Development Rep

Stanislaus Food Products has admin career openings for business development reps in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Antonio, Austin, Nashville and California’s Central Valley. Our business development reps meet with quality restaurants every day to meet with executive chefs and owners.

They present Stanislaus’ tomatoes and olive oils and conduct side-by-side tastings, to demonstrate the superiority of our ingredients for pizzerias and Italian restaurants.

Past experience in the food service or restaurant industry is a must for this position. It also helps if you are at least conversational in Spanish.

Sales experience will benefit you greatly as a business development rep, because your earnings on top of your base salary from Stanislaus Food Products is uncapped. You’ll be in control of your own destiny and earnings when you join the team.

Stanislaus Food Products has an established reputation and is a growing company, so this is a great opportunity for a confident, outgoing, “go-getter” personality.

We offer a highly competitive benefits package that includes full health, vision, dental and life insurance — and that’s just the beginning. We also provide a company vehicle for any work-related travel.

If you’re truly passionate about the food service industry and don’t mind door-knocking or prospecting among some of the most incredible privately-owned restaurants in the country, consider applying for one of our admin career openings as a business development representative.
