Aloo Matar Recipe
When we talk about Indian comfort recipes, there are many. However, one of the popular and well-liked ones is aloo matar. The Aloo matar recipe is one of the beloved and most comforting Indian curries. It is simple to rustle up. It can be made with readily available ingredients in the winter season. Serve aloo matar with rotis, puris, naan, or plain rice, and add zing to your meal. Take 1 cup of chopped tomatoes, ½ cup of chopped onions, 5-6 cloves of garlic, and a small piece of ginger in a blender and blend them into a smooth paste. It is a quick and simple-to-make matar recipe. You can prepare matar kebab with a few spices and ingredients. Blend a mixture of spinach, peas, green chilies, ginger, and bread. Mix in black pepper and salt. Form the dough into many rounds and dust the rounds with chickpea flour. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the kebabs till brown on both sides. Garnish using onion rings and serve them hot.
Matar Paneer Recipe
The Matar paneer recipe is an everyday comfort dish of matar (peas) and panner (cottage cheese) mingled in tomato gravy. It is an all-time favorite recipe of North Indian homes. Serve it hot with naan, chapati, or rice. To make Matar paneer, heat ghee in a Kadai. Add cumin seed and cloves, and let them crackle. Next, add onions and sauté them until translucent. In the next step, add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and sauté them for a minute. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and coriander powder, and sauté them until the spices are fragrant and the onions are cooked properly. Then add the tomato puree and salt and let it cook until the ghee leaves on the sides. Next, add fried paneer and green peas, and some water to prepare a semi-thick matar paneer gravy. Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
